Botanical Name Cymbopogon Martinii Origin Native To India And Pakistan, Now Grown In Africa, Indonesia, Brazil, And Comoro Islands. Part Of Plant Used Fresh Or Dried Grass Method Of Extraction Steam Distillation Aroma And Colour Palmarosa Oil Is A Pale Yellow Or Olive Colored With A Sweet, Floral, Rosy, Geranium Like Odor. Therapeutic Indication Antiseptic, Bactericidal, Cicatrisant, Digestive, Febrifuge, Hydrating, Stimulant, And Tonic. Principal Constituents Mainly Geraniol, Farnesol, Geranyl Acetate, Methyl Heptenone, Citronellol, Citral, Dipentene, And Limonene Among Others.
